The series will differ greatly from the popular Red Fisher show where most of the air time is spent in getting to a remote camp by plane along with other items unrelated, to fishing. Marquardt states they want to reach the people • who cannot afford such a trip and to make the public aware that a fishing experience is often close to home. The thirteen part series will be classified by the types of , bodies of water and what they will produce. It was pointed out that even the Wilmot from its source to its mouth provides different species for the fisherman. They spoke of" the aging process of the Wilmot from Leskard to the lake which is normal for any stream but provides different opportunities for different fish. The Wilmot system has chosen as being a typical trout stream in Ontario. The TV Ontario crew will visit other bodies of water in Ontario and leave the Wilmot to film the fishing experience on the Trent-Severn system. McCleery points out that the series will endeavour to provide' information so that the fisherman can understand the different bodies of water and the habits of fish.
