Wi I mot creek part of Sport Fishing program Last summer TV Ontario cameras were in the Orono area filming along the Wilirfot creek in preparation for a new series bn Channel 19 which takes to the airways oh ' Monday, January 5th. The series is entitled Sport Fishing and will be presented in thirteen half-hour programs programs from January 5th to March 30th. The Orono film ing may well be part of a show to appear on Monday, January January 19th when the program deals with the trout system in streams. Custodians & Board ratify 2-year contract The Northumberland and Newcastle Board of Education Education and the Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 1206, wjiich represents custodial, maintenance and other service employees employed employed by the Board, have ' both ratified a two year contract. CUPE held their ratification meeting last week in Cobourg while the Board ratified the contract Monday afternoon. An across-the-board payment payment was made for all members of the Union which in total costs the Board 8.65 percent in the first year and 8.55 perrcent in the second year.
