Kean welcomed all 73 members members and guests present and C, Martin said grace. The United Church Women served a roast beef dinner fit for a king and D. Hayman, who gave us some informative facts about wood burning stoves in ■ a movie on installation and upkeep. He also gave us some data on the Town of New- catle fires which he has gathered in his por <! nn as flower arrangements by J. Sutcliffe. President W. Kean reminisced reminisced his past years in the Orono District Credit Union Ltd. He felt that with Canadian economy as it is, the Credit Union had its members interest's at heart. The adjusting adjusting of our interest rates on loans and shares was to benefit the membership's needs and to attract new members. W. Kean pointed out the dedication of L. Werry and D. Perfect in their positions and expressed appreciation appreciation to the Board of Directors, Credit Committee, Supervisory Committee and the Loan Officer, who are the backbone of the Credit Union. A. Loucks was asked to present R. Allin with a 25 year service certificate and a book from the members. R. Allin has served in every capacity in the Credit Union and has allowed his name to stand again this year for another three year term.
