Town budget deadline passes Council had set a target date of March 23rd to have their 1981 budget intact and approved. The deadline has passed and the budget is still •in liftibo. 1 In speaking with Counc. Woodyard, chairman of finance, finance, he said he had called a finance meeting for this Friday morning to give further further consideration to the budget but it now has been postponed. Woodyard states its almost impossible to arrange a meeting and one would think the budget not important. When asked if the seventeen seventeen percent increase in Public Works was to be indicative of other departments departments he felt not. He pointed out that Public Works had added two new employees including an accounting clerk. He said very little would change as to the Public Works department other than what action the Ministry may take with th.e supplementary budget which in total amount is $244,OOÇ.
