Thomas died in Bowmanville Hospital June 12th. He had been in poor health for some time. He was the son of Fred and *; Mary (Alexander) Thomas bom on Feb. 18, 1900 in Kendal. Kendal. He married Annie E. Wood of Columbus in 1929. He was a barber in Long Branch and then he moved to Belwood where he barbered and ran an Apiary for twenty years after which he returned to Orono where he ran the local restaurant and the booth at the Park. Left to mourn his passing are his wife Annie; two daughters, Mary (Mrs. Ken Nixon), Orono, Freda (Mrs. Gerald Jenkins), Oshawa; son Fred of Clinton; 15 grandchildren; 16 greatgrandchildren; greatgrandchildren; four sisters, Mildred and Vera out west, Irene and Vilda of Toronto. He was predeceased by his son George, a brother Harvey and sister Lillian. Pallbearers were Brian and Keith Thomas, Bob and Randy Randy Nixon, Leonard Kemlo and Steven Fogg. i Rev.
