Isabelle was presented with her district service award and Allan commended her on all the years of service in all fields of horticulture, not just at home here in Orono, but in other areas. Ann Evans pinned pinned on a pretty corsage and Isabelle thanked everyone for this honour. Ken Boyd introduced introduced our guest speaker, Mr. Norman Irvine, a specialist with Ceresdale Fertilizers. Fertilizers. Orono Junior Gardeners report • Aitnough several of the regular Junior members were absent last Thursday, the annual annual show was a very successful successful event. There were 55 entries and Mrs. O. Challice judged the show.
