House Prices Going Down A Royal Trust, real estate division survey, shows single detached bungalows draping in price by five percent over the past year in the Region of Durham with a national average drop of 6.3 percent. Man Injured In Combine Accident Thirty-seven ■ year old Donald Rickard of R.R, 4, Bowmanville suffered injuries injuries in a farm accident on New Years Eve. , Donald, the son of Mayor Garnet Rickard, was listed in satisfactory condition after loosing 2 toes on his right foot when his leg was caught in à rented combine. Donald managed to release his foot from the combine, then turn it off. Later Donald was transfered to Oshawa General and is expected to be released in 2 weeks. 97% Children Now Protected Public nurses ' for the Ministry of Health in Durham have found that 97 percent of all Kindergarten children have been immunized immunized against six diseases the Ministry wants to eliminate. The 97 percent of children are protected against tetanus, diptheria, measles, polio, mumps and rubella. Trial Set For Stabbing Youth A trial date has been set on February 18 for a former Toronto man, accused of stabbing a 10 year old boy who had been riding by on a" bicycle through Qshawa's South Park last fall. Reginald Billington, 19, haà been charged with possessing a dangerous weapon and wounding. The young boy, a resident of Bloor Street, was rushed to hospital on Nov. 2 suffering from from several wounds. Police report that the boy was riding his bicycle-through the south Park by a foot bridge where he wry abducted and stabbed in the neck.
