Farm Financial Management Today, increasing demand is being placed on farm operations operations on maintaining a good set of farm records and using these in making sound financial financial decisions for today, tomorrow and the future. The time that we spend on maintaining these records could be as important as many of the other jobs we do on our farm. Having a sound set of records for our farm will answer many questions for us including: a) How did our business perform perform last year? b) Has my equity improved over the last year? c) What will be my income tax position for last year? d) What operating line of credit will I need this year? e) Can I afford to buy or rent that additional 50 acres across the mad? Most importantly, our records will help us in determining determining the strengths and weaknesses of the farm business.' Many people have made use of the Farm Account Account Book, available through the Ministry of Agriculture and Food offices. The new revised edition ' of the "Bluebook" (as it has been called by many) is now available at the, Bowmanville office of the Ministry. Three workshop sessions on using the new account book and on evaluating the farm business and planning for the future will be held Feb. 16 - 18th. The following are the locations locations of the workshops, each to be held from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. 168 Church St., Bowmanville, Ontario L1C 1T3 623-4831 SALE FEBRUARY 15-19TH 50% OFF COTTON KNITS 100% Cotton -160 cm. wide r 50% OFF Polyester & Cotton Knits 25-30% OFF 115 cm. -160 cm, VARIOUS POLYESTER PRINTS Wednesday, Feb. 16th -, Blackstock Town Hall.
