Squair passed away June 10, 1983 at Memorial Hospital, Bowman ville in his ninetieth year. Son of the late Frank and Annie Squair he lived his entire entire life at Orono, Salem, and Bowmanville, attending Salem Public School and Bowmanville High School. He was an active member of Salem United Church., , In 1934 he married Helen Pollard Rice who predeceased predeceased him in 1942. Mr. Squair farmed at Salem (Lot 7, Concession 3 Former Darlington Township) where he specialized in apple growing until 1970. The first reforestation planting in Ontario Ontario was on this farm with trees shipped from Germany. The funeral was held from Morris Funeral Chapel on June 13, 1983 with Reverand N. E.
