All for the sport of it Mike Williams of Oshawa awaits his turn in competition at the seventh annual Orono Fair Tractor pull at the Orono Fair grounds last Monday. He competes with his modified tractor "which class had the largest entry in the event at the annual event. Mike describes his machine as powered with a 454 Chevy engine and a Cockshutt rear- end. His interest in such events stems from the fact that he has a number of friends who make the circuit and decided that he could find some enjoyment enjoyment in being part of the competitions. It took some thirteen months months to build the machine and a good number of dollars, he stated. "You have to enter such events for the sport that is in it," he said. Your father and mother deserve a lot of credit for the early success of the paper. Times were hard and 1 know it was a real struggle I have watched with keen interest how the paper has grown and florished under your capable management in later years.
