A new pamphlet entitled "Lindsay District Winter Trails", prepared by the Ministry of Natural resources, describes crosscountry crosscountry ski and snowmobile trails located on public lands. Trail users are requested to stay on marked trades and , in Provincial Parks, to use roadways only. This will help prevent damage to young .trees and turf. Accidents resulting from collision with fireplace grills, water shutoffs, shutoffs, concrete arches and other obstacles will also be minimized. All-terrain vehicle vehicle owners are reminded that the operation of ATV's is prohibited in all Lindsay District Provincial Parks. Snowmobile clubs are also . gearing up for a good long winter of trail riding. Over 15 clubs with trails within the Lindsay district are grooming and signing trails that will provide a wide variety of snowmobiling opportunities. Snowmobilers are reminded that Trad Permits are required required to use club-maintained trails. For those interested in joining a snowmobile club or using club trails, contacts are listed in the new winter trails pamphlets.
