No. A 0105 Orono Team II enter summer "Dog Days" , in me last few weeks the play of the Orono team has degenerated. Perhaps the "dog days" of summer have contributed to the lethargy but, whatever the reason, the members are going to have, to pull Chilled Apple Dessert Ureen Apple Ice Cream Pie 2 cups shredded Granny , Smith Apples 3 tablespoons apple brandy or apple juice 3 pints vanilla ice cream 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 9-inch unbaked crumb crust In small bowl combine apples and apple brandy. Meanwhile, soften ice cream at room temperature. Stir cinnamon, apples, and brandy into softened ice cream; turn into prepared crust. Freeze until firm, about 4 hours. Yield: One 9-inch pie. out of their slump or face tougher practices. On June 18 the Orono side trounced Solina 9-2, but then came up with a less than impressive performance performance against the Bowmanvillè Dynamos a week later. That game ended in a 3-3 tie. On July 2nd our lack of intensity finally caught up with us as, a more industrious Hampton side throttled Orono 8-2. Finally, on July 9, a less talented Bowmanville Stings team managed to tie as 3-3 because several of our players refused to challenge for the ball. In that game Jim Partner, Scott McAllister and Darryl Reid scored, but many opportunities were missed. Dustin Reid also played strongly as did our goaltendersi Hopefully in a few weeks I shall have more positive news to report. I can end this report on one happy notc-welcoipe to our two members, Scott Hall and Steve Johnson, Telephone 983-5032 Park St. Box 340 Matthews &r Associates INSURANCE BROKERS LTD.
