Durham Police officers will be taking part in the June 3 Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run for the. Special Olympics and are looking looking for sponsors for the run. On that date, police officers throughout, the province will take part in a relay, starting from six locations and carrying lighted torches. torches. The relay will end at Toronto's Varsity Arena' for the Special Olympics international floor hockey tournament. Durham's officers will take part in the run starting from Ottawa and will carry the torch for 59 kilometres through the region.
