In training for Torch run <o<" The Last Straw Has Been Broken With the Ontario provincial election election now on tap a new avenue for discussion has opened up for the present time. It does appear that since the change of government more people are being involved and new recruits are appearing on the scene which is especially true in Orono. The fact that the liberals have an Orono resident resident as their candidate is a big factor factor for the mounting interest. Those with a liberal lean are out working and many for the first time. Ann Dreslinski has to be one of these new recruits and as Poll Captain Captain for three local polls has shown her organizational skills and is all- caught-up in the process. Excitement runs high and expresses expresses the wish that September 10th was much closer than it is today. today. In a .recent conversation she did say, "I do hope that Diane wins this contest, 1 really do" To my surprise I answered, "God willing she will". What surprised me with this answer is that it is out of my character to say such a thing. I always cringe when I hear an athlete attribute his victory to the will of God or for a team to do likewise. But while I was thinking' about this and only keeping half an ear open to a reply from Ann Dreslinski. I thought I did hear that "She will be willing." Orono Weekly Times, Wednesday, August 12, 1987-3 I had to ask, "When you use she are you talking about Hamre or God". t I guess I wasn't really surprised with the answer for I have never won out in this feminist battle even though I stubbornly keep trying. Never have I seen she spelt She with the capital S. The capital H on He predominates. But I find that's not suffice . . its one of the literalities. Your body and mind go hand in hand. Massage relaxes your body and your mind and we all can use that!" Cher explained. Cher also emphasized the personal personal aspect of massage. Cher comes to your home so you stay in your own comfortable environment and can utterly relax once the massage is completed. "It's the only time in your life you are touched for one hour objectively objectively with no commitments and nothing is expected. Some people especially older people find massage is the only time they are ever touched touched at all," she said. Massage helps correct certain bodily or emotional dysfunctions and improves general functioning, but besides the therapeutic benefits it makes you feel absolutely wonderful. If people could get over either the taboo idea of massage or the nervousness of being touched they could come to feel so much better in mind and body.
