Qualified electors who do not receive Form 301 or whose names CYR are not on the list of electors may have their names added during the revision period up to and including the day preceding election day. Not only additions, but corrections and deletions to the preliminary lists of electors, prepared following the door to door enumeration, may also be made at this time. Urban lectors must have their names on the list of electors or on a certificate to vote. The Returning Officer or a revision assistant will provide such a certificate to people added to the list following the enumeration period. These electors must present their certificate at the polling place to receive a ballot and vote. On election day, rural electors not on the list may still vote, provided provided they are identified and vouched vouched for by another qualified elector who is on the list for that polling division. Electors whose names are not on the list should contact the Returning Returning Officer in their electoral district. Revisions to the list will be reviewed by the Returning Officer during posted office hours. The office of the Returning Officer Officer can be easily identified through the display of the Elections Ontario sign. Elections Ontario advertisements, advertisements, in daily and weekly newspapers throughout the province, province, will carry the telephone number of the Returning Officer for each electoral district. A successful summer at Clarke Museum On Monday, August 31 the funeral exhibit, "In Repose" is being being replaced with a new display entitled entitled "Is Dinner Ready Yet?", The exhibit of funeral material which has been on display since July 6 has sparked a lot of interest. The museum has received some great coverage from the Toronto Star, the Oshawa Times, CHEX TV in Peterborough, CBC radio, and a trade paper, "Canadian Funeral News" as well as the local papers. Over 950 people, including some very interested funeral directors, have visited the museum while the coffins, capes, death notices, memorials and embalming tools were on display. The new exhibit being installed on Monday will feature various kitchen tools and utensils, a turn of the century table set for dinner and some interesting glass and china pieces. As well there is a display of hand tools entitled "By the Hand of Man" on exhibit. It includes some interesting types of rakes, saws,. buggy jacks, planes, and hammers. This summer has been very successful successful at the museum. The various special event days have gone very well and many people came out for the chair caning demo, book sale and flea market, art and craft show, antique and classic car show, and folk art deom and sale. Summer student, Suzanne Vandermale who was in charge of co-ordinating these special events would like to thank all those who came out for them. A big thank you also goes to all those who volunteered their services and talents to help make these event days a success. Other special events are planned for this fall so keep Watching the papers for details. If you haven't been out to the museum yet, why not take the trip? Admission is free and there is a picnic picnic area where you stop for lunch.
