Through the promotion the two organizing groups raised $600.00. . The show was billed as Spring Into Summer featuring sum- merwear, sportswear, suits and dresses, evening wear, silks and prom dresses. A lunch provided by the band and the Atmosphere Committee was available at intermission. *. Models for the evening were Marcia Blasche, Christy Flin- toff, Tracy Miles, Tina Wood, Lori wood, Leanne Watkins, Jen Brunten, Michelle Alic, Teresea Kennedy, Jenny Speksnijder, Gerry Bailey, Maureen Mumford, Sue Wood and Donnarene Knapp. ■ Mr. and Mrs. Len Guy presented an exhibition of ' ballroom dancing in the latter half of the show. Building your child's self esteem The Family Education Resource Centre of Durham House is starting an eight session parent study group at Sir Albert Love School in Oshawa on Tuesday, April 19th, 1988 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Building Your Child's Self % Esteem will focus on how self esteem is built; how a child's view of himself/herself affects his/her behaviour; what happens when a child's self esteem is low and what parents can do to foster high self esteem.
