This material likely did not come from the curb- side blue box collection as our drivers monitor the glass closely at the point of collection, leaving unrecyclable material in the box. Materials arriving at our eighteen depot locations however are handl ed in 45 gallon barrels which present present problems in monitoring contents contents which may include non recyclable, medical or hazardous materials. Glass collected for recycling must be container glass only and can not include medical glass, window glass, light bulbs, cookwear or dishes. We ask that residents assist us by placing only glass bottles and jars in their blue box or in one of our eighteen depots.
