Gary Tushingham, director of education also stated that if the board was considering going before the Township they should consider that they would be setting setting a "dangerous precedent". Wilf Day, a trustee representing representing Hope Township on the Board of Education said he had Last Tuesday evening at the Orono Public school a large audience audience was present when a memorial tribute was observed for Ina Brown, a former teacher at the school. Students provided a program of music while an oil painting by Margaret Clifford was unveiled on the stage by Jeff Hughes, Amanda Coatham, Jeff Finley and Wayne Werry. The painting is to hang in the school. Many many words of praise were expressed by those in attendance as to the commitment as a teacher and person while at Orono Public School.
