The Orono Guides have now completed another successful year with a membership of 28 guides from the community. On Monday evening four Guides of the Orono Guides were presented with their All Round Cord in a ceremony at the Orono Public School. Those receiving their All round Cords were Tracy Arnott, Lindsey Couch, Tracey Doty and Cheryl Ryckman. They are pictured above left to right: Kerry and Gail Arnott and Tracy; Lindsey Couch; Elaine and Tracey Doty and Doug and Pat Beaver, Cubs and Scouts wrap-up The Orono Beavers, Cubs and Scouts with a total enrolment of 55 during the past year held closing ceremonies on Monday night on the lawns of the OronoJJnited Church. It was the close-out for the year with 'swim-up' for Beavers and 'going 'going up' for Cubs. The outing included presentations, presentations, awards and lunch for all at the close. The awrds for the scout of the , Year and Cub of the Year were presented with the recipients above with their leaders.
