The Algonquins of Golden Lake First Nation are carrying out an environmental environmental program in which Environmental Environmental Youth Corps participants participants clean shorelines and promote promote awareness of environmental concerns in the Golden Lake area. The Great Lakes Institute in Windsor is conducting a'study on the impact of toxic chemicals and species invasions on the biota of Lake St. Clair. Environmental Youth Corps participants examine various aspects of biota in Lake St, Clair, including the movement of toxic contaminants in the lake's food web.
