You U.C.W. Fal meetings set Come Let Us Sing "Come Let Us Sing" will be the theme of the Oshawa Presbyterial U.C.W. Fall Regional Meetings to be held on October 11 and 12, 1989. Lynda Jewell will help us to see our songs as an expression of our faith journey. Mrs. Jewell, from Trenton, Ontario, was born in Scarborough Scarborough Junction into a family with strong Methodist roots. She was raised in an atmosphere of love, tolerance, music, and laughter by an extra-special father (her mother died in 1945). Life centred on the family family business and the church. Lynda Lynda became a teacher of Grade 4 , and music. She and her husband, husband, Reg, and two daughters continue to focus on the family business and the church, especially church music from classical to contemporary. The new Pickering United Church will host the evening meeting on October 11 beginning beginning at 5:30 p.m. with registration, registration, tour of the new church; browsing in the Book Room, and supper which costs $6.00. Start by standing straight,, legs shoulder width apart, hands on your hips, lift your right heel up and put it down. Do this on the same leg 10 times and switch to the other leg. Repeat. 2. Extend your arms .out in ' front, palms together, el- *bows bent, and pointing toward the ceiling.'Keeping the hands together, bend wrists and point hands to the right, and then back to the left. Do 10 times and repeat. 3. Next, combine the first exercise exercise of heel raises with the wrist bends. Do 10 times and repeat. Now, you should be ready to work out. 4. Stand with your legs together, hands on the hips, posture straight, knees slightly bent. Rotate your knees in a circle to the right 10 times and the reverse to the left. Repeat. 5. Stand with legs shoulder width apart, hands on your hips, knees slightly bent, and move your hips side to side. At the same time, extend the right arm out to the side and pull in an imaginary rope to the other hand. Stretch the arms as you reach out and pull it in. Remember to keep those hips moving slowly side to side. Ten arm extensions extensions to each side and repeat. '6. Stand straight with legs shoulder width apart, knees slightly bent, hands on hips.
