Orono 4-H Club holds its first meeting On Monday, October 2, the'first meeting of the Orono 4-H Club "Good Foods Fast" project was held in the Orono United Church. Wilma Prins and Lois McLeod are the leaders of this project. Seventeen Seventeen 4-H members attended, with only two of them being boys. We started off by introducing ourselves stealing. At this meeting we got our books and discussed good breakfasts. Good breakfasts include foods from at least 3 out of the 4 food * groups. Breakfast is the most important important meal of the day. We also found out how much fibre and sugar are in some of our favourite cereals. Some of us learned that our favourite cereals contained more sugar than anything else. After looking over our home activities, there were a few appointed as cooks for the night. They made popcorn with parmesan cheese and taco seasoning, as well as grape spritzer, ^e all enjoyed eating the delicious snack, the rest of us tried to think of a name for our group, but failed to come up with one, and decided to sleep on it.
