I understand a lovely service was conducted by the Royal Canadian Legion, amid a number of local residents. Although we wear a poppy only a couple of days out of the year, we must never forget the men and women who gave their lives for our freedom today, in this beautiful - land. Thank you to Legion members who, among so many thousands, hold the thought of loved ones lost in the ways ever so dear. "Lest We Forget" Rev. Bryan Ransom speaks to students. Rev. Bryan Ransom, with a globe at hand talked with the children about how, even today, there are wars going on in the world. Students were eager to assist in putting putting "bandaids on the world", in dicating where fighting still exists. Rev. Ransom spoke how Canada has always been known as a peacemaker, adding that children themselves can become young peacemakers for our country, just by learning to be kind and not to fight.
