Loving husband of Valerie Bedford for 12 years, and father of Decker. David Charles Is predeceased by his grandfather, Ralph Douglas Barnes, of Brighton, Ontario, and father-in-law David Spring, of Chilliwack, B.C. He will be sadly missed by his parents, David Bedford (wife Valerie), stepbrothers Stuart and Brock, of Chilliwack, B.C.; his mother, Judy Bedford (Roy Scott), of Pontypool, Ontario: mother-in-law, Donna Spring, of Toronto, Ontario; brother, Douglas Bedford, sister-in-law Heidi, nephew Brandon, of Barrie, Ontario; uncle Joe (Jean), cousins Jocelyn, and Joseph, of Brampton, Ontario; aunt Anne-Marie (Patrick Burgon), of St. Louis, Missouri, God Uncle Hugh Beauchamp, of Orono, Ontario; grandparents Harold and Rita Bedford, Dora Barnes, and Margaret Northam. Numerous extended family members and cherished friends. He was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces from July 1983 - February 1996. Chuck served with 1PPCLI 2 Commando Airborne, and RCEME with Lord Strathcona Horse. Since leaving the forces he was employed by Calgary Mack, and The City of Calgary. Husband, father, son, friend, a brother in arms has preceded us to a better place to recon and prepare for those who come after. May he ride on in the hearts and minds of all who loved him.
