As the season progressed, some very interesting strategies and manoeuvers were developed by the thoughtful athletes. Pioneer Day Submitted by the Grade 2/3 class - On Thursday, February 24th, the grade 2/3 class held a Pioneer Day to celebrate the conclusion of a pioneer pioneer social studies unit. We baked three types of bread, made caramel popcorn balls, made butter out of whipped cream, learned how to knit, crochet and cork and, last but not least, made some candles. Many parents and grandparents came la to our class to help. Of course, the best part of the day was the end, when we got to sample all of the wonderful and tasty things we had prepared. prepared.
