And then she asked a young man, And his face went awful red, "Well I know you'll really like it, And it's going to be a hit, And I'll gladly show it to you If you'd like to wait a bit." I have been a regular regular gambler since high school and knew the score. I planned to take my "best game" to the poker table. We went to our room to unpack and unwind. An hour later, I yvas ready for my "search and destroy" mission. Sandy headed for the blackjack tables for some "recreational" fun and I canvassed several poker rooms to choose my "place of work" for the next few hours. I quickly realized that the "regular vultures" would make it very tough for an outsider to win. I was truly disappointed that I did not have the time or patience to compete with the locals. Looking back, I Was probably probably lacking the talent to match this group and was satisfying my own ego by finding ah excuse for not competing. Three days to go and no research on alternative alternative casino gambling. What was I to do? I bought a gaming gaming book at the hotel gift shop . - incidentally - for twice the. money the same publication sells for at "Jakies Souvenirs" - one block off the strip. I spent the next couple of hours reading and based on "proper play" and minimum juice - I chose a foreign gambling gambling venue - certainly to me. I emerged from our hotel room - a wrong way dice player! I honestly had no grand desire to stand at a craps table. I thought it to be a silly game and still do. I also didn't didn't realize how unpopular a "Don't" player is. I followed the book, got lucky and we left Vegas with more money than we had arrived with. You will notice that I did not refer to winning some of "their" money. They put up money and I put up money.
