The second public meeting in the Wilmot Creek Watershed Study was a very active affair. The first meeting introduced the public to the concept of a Watershed Study. This meeting was designed to get a vision for what the people want to see for the Wilmot Creek. People were encouraged to write down their wishes for the creek, which will be digested by thé Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority, before they come back for their next Public Meeting in June. Everyone plays an important important part in life. We should pray for the ability to see the richness and beauty of others. We are apt to miss the beauty and grace of a person until someone else points it out to us. This message underscored how important qnseen benefactors benefactors are. Barbara Savage who entered Bowmanville Hospital last week is finding it even harder to get around now. She broke her ankle badly trying to get out of bed, and had to be taken to Oshawa General Hospital to have a pin inserted into the ankle to aid in the repair. She has returned to Bowmanville Hospital and is now starting to walk again! Our very best wishes for a speedy recovery Barbara. Dorothy Hellebust is con tinuing to wage her battle against cancer. Her family is very supportive at this difficult difficult time. Please pray for them all. Megan Hartwell celebrated her fifth - birthday on Wednesday, April 12. Eddy Couroux celebrated his birthday on Tuesday April 11. He didn't tell us which one! Susan and Greg French have returned tanned from a gorgeous week in Cozumel , Mexico. They enjoyed themselves themselves very much and can certainly certainly recommend it as a vacation vacation destination. Joyce Boudreau has returned from, a cruise in the Gulf of Mexico and her favourite spot was Cozumel as well! Larry Westlake, formerly of Thunder Bay now of Wawa, son of Thelma and Jack Westlake spent the weekend weekend visiting his parents and brother and sister, Dave and Joyce. BINGO WINNERS!
