The Kendal Eagles are no exception exception having had four games rescheduled all in the month of June. 'The first day of summer saw the visiting Eagles exact a measure of revenge on Port Hope crushing them 11-1 after an earlier loss. Kendal batted around in the second jumping out front by six runs on seven hits. Troy Foster led off the second with a single single followed by a Steve West double. Cory Baker singled scoring Foster and V/est. Steve Dawe reached first safely on a bunt single advancing Baker. Baker was driven home on a Mark Foster single followed by a Mike Robinson walk. Chris Stark singled to drive home Foster. Then, Cory Fenton singled cashing jin Robinson to close out the inning. It couldn't have come at a worst time as Kendal, with Baker on the DL also lost the services of Cory Fenton who's out with a broken finger. finger. The Eagles bench was a short one this night missing a total of six players. Belleville's Burt limited the locals to just two hits and five base runners while racking racking up seven k's and inducing 11 Kendal batters to fly out. Chris Stark was the only Eagle batter to hit safely. He singled and scored in the'first, singled and left stranded in the sixth then hit by a pitch in the eighth.
