Clarington The Community With Future NOTICE OF PASSING OF A BY-LAW UNDER THE DEVELOPMENT CHARGES ACT TAKE NOTICE THAT the Council of the Municipality of Clarington passed Development Charge By-law 2000- 108 on the 10 th day of July 2000 under Section 2 of the Development Charges Act, 1997. AND TAKE NOTICE THAT any person or organization may appeal to the Ontario Municipal Board in respect of the by-law by filing with the Municipal Clerk of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington on or before the 21 st day of August 2000, at the address shown below, a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the bylaw bylaw and the reasons in support of the objection. The development charges imposed under the by-law will apply if development of the land requires any one or more of the following actions or decision: (a) (b) (c) (d) (e) (f) (9) the passing of a zoning by-law or of an amendment thereto under section 34 of the Planning Act; the approval of a minor variance under section 45 of the Planning Act;, a conveyance of land to which a by-law passed under subsection 50(7) çf the Planning Act applied; the approval of a plan of subdivision under section 51 of the Planning Act; a consent under section 53 of the Planning Act; the approval of a description under section 50 of the Condominium Act; or the issuing of a permit under the Building Code Act, 1992 in relation to a building or structure. The by-law comes into force and is effective on August 1, 2000.
