Ontario Power Generation's Darlington nuclear station will hold a public open house on Sunday, September 10 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Highlights will include guided walking tours of the station, bus tours of the site, and displays and demonstrations demonstrations by Darlington staff and community partners. Children's activity areas will be available for those under. 12 years of age. The open house is being held in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of the first power produced at Darlington. Emphasis is on fun and safety. Race distances offer a challenge, yet are short enough to be completed. The Canadian Institute of Steel Construction Kids of steel Series (CISC-KOS) is co-ordinated by the Ontario Association of Triathletes (OAT), a non-profit organization and the governing body or sport of Triathlon in Ontario. All participates jnust be members of AOT. A one day membership fee of $5.00 must be paid to the OAT representative on race day.
