Purchasing Manager Municipality of Clarington 2000 MUNICIPAL ELECTION VOTE BY MAIL HEAP LIFEGUARDS/HEAD INSTRUCTORS Qualifications: Must hold a current certification for Red Cross/Life Saving Society Instructors, National Lifeguard Services, Standard First Aid, and Basic Rescuer C.P.R. Must have minimum of two years teaching and lifeguarding experience. Aquatic Supervisor training, and Lifesaving Society Examiners would be an asset. , Duties include assisting in the supervision of staff and aquatic programs, ensuring all policies and procedures are being met and assisting the Program Co-ordinator in ' delivery of aquatic programs and staff training. * The 2000 Municipal Election is being conducted by utilizing "Vote By Mail". For you, the elector, this means casting your ballot becomes very convenient, by following these five easy steps: ' Step 1 - You will receive your ballot kit in your mail. Step 2 - Read the simple instructions on the personalized sheet provided. . Step 3 - Fill in the ballot and insert it in the anonymous inner envelope. Step 4 - Sign the declaration of confidentiality.- Step 5 - Insert the declaration and the anonymous inner envelope inside the Business Reply Envelope and mail it back to the Municipality. Once the envelope is received by the Municipal Clerk, the outer Business Reply Envelope is opened, your declaration of confidentiality is removed and your anonymous secrecy envelope is deposited into the appropriate ballot box. These envelopes are not opened until 8:00 p m. on election night (November 13, 2000), which guarantees the voter's confidentiality. Upon removal of the declaration form, your name will be marked off the voters' list to ensure that an elector cannot cast additional ballots.
