Community With Future A GTA COUNTRYSIDE STRATEGY The Greater Toronto Services Board (GTSB) has published a draft document entitled "A GTA Countryside Strategy", to protect the countryside (about two-thirds of the GTA) from being gobbled up by urban sprawl. A presentation will be made to Clarington Council by the GTSB, at 7:00 p.m. on September 25"\ 2000. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend. Although there-will not be an opportunity at the Council meeting for delegations to respond to the presentation, Clarington staff will be preparing a response to the draft strategy.
