Last Thursday the boys were in Millbrook and escaped with a 2-2 tie despite a slew of penalties and a rough style of play from their opponents. Last Friday night Orono put together quite an offensive display display at home as they walloped Haliburton 'AE' to the tune of 11-0. The Lumber Leafs finished finished the week and the month Sunday night in Fenelon Falls with yet another impressive win this time to the tune of 7- 2. Orono can pat themselves on the back as they played the whole month of November riding an impressive string of wins throughout October and were looking for much of the same as they faced off against a big Haliburton squad. Orono looked like they were in a bit of trouble to start the third period but caught a break, when their opponents took a few bad penalties. Orono caught a break at 6:54 of the third when Matt Reid turned sniper and roofed one on the power play to tie the game at 2. - Ricky Howe and Jeff Thompson drew assists. Orono thought they had some momentum going but unfortunately unfortunately the game was called after a thunderous body check by Adam Tollett popped a portion portion of glass out. Final score: 2-2. Next home game is Sunday night at 7:30 vs. Mariposa. MacDonald and Mike Howe. Headier Maitland was the hero to tie the game on a deflection. Assists went to Matt Bcster and Scott Henderson. Mike frisson and Andrew Fudge shared the goaltending assignment assignment and were awesome.
