Contention was thick but Orono did a great job keeping Haliburton stymied for the duration of the second period and retaliating with a goal at the top of the 3rd period scored by Steve Hicks and assissted by Josh Moffat. Unfortunately, with just a little little over a minute left in the game, Haliburton scored twice and earned the 3-1 win. Good effort Orono! On Nove. 26, • Orono Peewee Rep's travelled to Omemee. Orono began the scoring at the midway point of the period - on a goal by Mark Spiers, assisted by Josh Moffat. Omemee scored as well but Orono respondded with a goal scored by Mark Spiers, assisted by Brent Vanstone. Omemee squeaked two more in but again Orono came back, Doug Garlick planted one between the pipes unassisted at the top of the 3rd. The Orono Peewee Rep's unfortunately lost their persistance persistance and suffer a 6-3 loss to Omemee. December 1st the Orono Peewee's met Bobcageon, All 1 can say about this game is that Orono totally blew Bobcageon away with a score of 17-0. A shut-out for Alex Hart! Good game goalie Alex Hart! On Dec. 17, the peewee's hosted a game to Woodville. Orono maintained their determination determination and worked hard against this powerful team; Orono successfully frustrated the Woodville .team and stymied them with a 3-3 tie. Well done Team !
