Orono faced Bowmanville #8 on Dec. 16. Patrick Rempel made the start in net and played awesome. Brandon • Leblanc scored the lone marker unassisted. Brandon Cox, Scot Duquette, Chris Hermansen, Kevin Jackson, Cary Konopkâ, Jesse Lambert, Nick Lawrence, Kevin Schoemaker, Ryan Wood and Kurils Zwolinski played some great hockey. Mr. Sub Takes A Bite out of Armstrong IGA The Orono Armstrong IGA Peewees faced off with Mr. Sub on Dec. 13. It was a close game for two periods until Mr. Sub opened it up in the third. Sunday night, that team was'* Ops. Orono avoided a slow start after being off for a week. They scored two goals on the third shift of the game. The first was by Aaron Robinson from Paul Garisto. Garisto them set up Scott Wood for the second. Robinson also drew an assist. The Leafs scored two in the second and Ops managed their only goal to make it 4-1. Dan Tresise from Dan Cowx and Derek Heerschon scored the first and J.P. Pisalii from Scott Wood and Paul Garisto scored the other. It was more of the same in the third as Orono scored, you guessed it, two more goals.
