The needles all fell off the tree but it still looked very nice. I always took holidays in December so I could enjoy the winter and the snow. The more snow and 'cold was always fun most times. A girl bought me a ticket for three weeks of sun in Florida, but I turned it down. Miss Christmas in Canada? No Way! One weekend at Christmas, Mr. Mercer had to bring out his tow truck -and pull the same guy out of the driveway three times. Ross wondered what I was feeding him. Sometimes it was almost too çold. One time I woke up in the morning and the oil stove was out. Even the kettle kettle on the stove was frozen. The truth is. the warmest spot in the whole house was in the fridge. The whisky wasn't frozen, so I had a couple until the house warmed up. Then I had a couple more. The snow was heavy some years and I remember having having a party and someone parked their car upon the picnic table. They didn't even know it until the next day. Everything was wonderful. The cigars were dipped in rum, the chocolates were full of alcohol and even the kisses kisses tasted like bourbon. This is going to be another another wonderful Christmas. I hope we get more snow.
