'Fundraising Feast' Coordinator, . Craig Morrison was very pleased with the turn out of over 80 people at the dinner. There were over 100 items to be raffled off which made the evening very enjoyable for participants. With the approximately $4,000 raised, the school plans to acquire aerobic equipment for their fitness room. The Physical Education Department at Clarke is confident confident that access to a complete complete fitness program will provide students with an appreciation for their lifelong lifelong health. The Phys. Ed. It is also the season of farm sales and a glance through the papers shows that there are a lot of them, not all for retirements. We are grateful grateful for the support payment from the province; every bit helps. Tyrone Sunday School had a walk through Holy Week as their lesson on Sunday. Under the leadership of Jane Koene and Pat Woodley Vooys, the staff set up stations where the children (and adults after church) could go through the events of the last week of Jesus' life. Holy Week services started started with Palm Sunday on Apr. 8. The next event will be a Maundy Thursday supper and informal worship at Enniskillen on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Good Friday service service is also at Enniskillen at 7:00 p.m. This is always a very meaningful service that sets the tone for Easter. Easter Sunrise service will be at Enniskillen church at 6:30 a.m. followed by a pancake breakfast. Easter will be celebrated celebrated at Enniskillen at 9:30 a.m. and at Tyrone at 10:45 a.m. Everyone is welcome at any of these sen/ices.. If fur ther information is needed, call Rev. Norm at 905 263 8460. St John Ambulance will be the topic for our UCW meeting on Wed. April 11 at the Sunday School. The public public is invited to come to hear the speaker, Glen Gillies, at 7:30 p.m. and to share refreshments. The business meeting will be held after that. Protect the Ridges group will be meeting on April 22 at Enfield Church. If you are interested in this project, please feel free to come. Durham Federation of Agriculture will meet in Port Perry at the Scugog Business Centre on Tuesday, April 23 at 8 p.m. This is the regular monthly meeting open to all members.
