Seeks input on protecting Oak Ridge Moraine TORONTO - People with an Interest in the future of the Oak Ridges Moraine will have a chance to provide their input this summer through a series of public consultations and stakeholder stakeholder meetings led by Ron Vrancart, chair'of an interministry interministry team and an expert advisory panel to the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Chris Hodgson. On May 17, the government government froze development on. the moraine for six months in order to undertake a consultation consultation to develop a long-term protection strategy for the moraine. The team will also hold public public open houses in communities communities across the moraine, and* talk directly with a number number of stakeholders about the strategy. Dates and locations of the public open houses will be announced as details are finalized.
