A capacity crowd was on hand again to witness the truck and tractor pull on Saturday night which took place in front of the grandstand. Sunday afternoon's demolition derby packed the grandstands again, which when emptied out, signalled the end of the Fair. . Fair organizers were very pleased with the effort of the many volunteers again, without whom the Fair could never happen for a single year, let alone 150. Attendance for this year's fair totalled 15,095, up one thousand from the previous year. "To have a great fair takes people," says Fair president Charles Harris. "Without the volunteers that put things up and took them down, this Fair wouldn't have happened," said Harris following the Fair, and went on to thank everyone who helped and attended, "Making our Fair a big success."
