This proposed development development was of concern to the Municipality because if approved, it would have created created a new urban area along the East Townline Road, south of the 401, in an area that is predominately predominately agricultural. The Tucker Creek development development was seeking an amendment amendment to the Hope Township Official Plan to permit build 350 housing units, a hotel, commercial space and a golf course on a 270 hectare parcel of land.
