Former owner of the Lakefield Creamery & Dairy for 15 years and worked at the Village of Lakefield Water Treatment Plant for ten years. Don was born in Port Perry, July 6, 1927 and was raised and educated in Orono, ON. Survived by his wife, Margaret (Tink) for 53 years. Also survived by his sons Paul (Jan), and David (Barbara) and his grandchildren Bryan (Shawna), Leslie, Steven and Ian and his great-granddaughter Hannah Marie. Remembered by his sisters Ruth Grady, June McMullen and'Edna Taylor. Brother-in-law of Gwen and Mable Goode, Kathleen and Irvine Harrell and Marion and William Dadson., Prececeased by his brothers Ray, Bruce and Robert. Visitation was held at the Hendren Funeral Home, Lakefield, on Tuesday, November 16th, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial memorial service will be held at.the Lakefield United Church on Wednesday, November 17th, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. If desired, donations to the Lakefield United Church- Memorial Fund or PRHC Palliative Care would be appreciated.
