- Orono Weekly Times Wednesday, November 17, 2004 Dufferin Aggregate Juveniles remain undefeated The Orono Dufferin Aggregate Juveniles remain undefeated following three games this past week against some of the strongest teams in the league. Tuesday the team travelled to Peterborough where they jumped into an early 2-0 lead on goals by Greg Dunham from J.P. Pisani and Paul Richter & Brad Griffin from Adam Cryderman & Curt Robinson. The Leafs seemed to take the foot off the gas at that point and let the Nationals back in the game with two quick goals to tie it before the first period ended. They regained the two goal advantage advantage on two goals by Cryderman in the second period period with assists to Griffin, Peter Heerschop, Tanner Millson and Curt Robinson. Peterborough fought back in the third with two more to regain the tie, and despite several several good scoring chances late in the period, the Leafs were held off the score sheet and were forced to give up the first point of the season in the 4-4 tie. Friday night in Orono saw the Douro Dukes come to town to challenge the Leafs. If you enjoy fast exciting hockey you missed a great one on this night as the Leafs definitely definitely had their legs from the minute the puck was dropped. They were too much for the Dukes to handle as they potted three goals in the first period and one in each of the next two to defeat Douro 5-1. The Leafs were led on the score sheet by Lee Allin with a goal and two assists, and Aaron Robinson and Curt Robinson each with a goal and an assist. The other Leaf tallies tallies went to Devon Sutton and Chris Field, with assists to Brian Pisani, Richter, Cam James, Cryderman and J.P. Pisani. Saturday the Leafs were in Frankford to face the top team in the east division. They continued continued the pattern they have followed scoring the first goal on a hard shot by Aaron Robinson, who looked right at home moved up to the wing from defense. This game took on a different tone in the second second period as the Leafs fell behind for the first time this season on two goals by Frankford, going to the dressing dressing room down by one. Not shaken by this turn of events they came out hungry in the third scoring early to tie the game on a great breakaway pass from Curt Robinson to Tanner Millson with the other assist to Cryderman. Two more goals by hard working A. Robinson to get him the hat trick and salted away the 4-2 victory. Assists on these went to B Pisani and Field. Great goaltending by Brent MacGregor, including stopping stopping the Frankford leading scorer on a penalty shot, put the finishing touches on another entertaining match.
