In the first game Brian Fice scored the lone goal, assisted by Tessa Chad. The team put in a great effort but unfortunately lost 9-1. In Orono's second game of the tournament, the team came together for an 11-0 win. In the first period the team scored three goals. Goalscorers were Brady Easton, Alex Stirbisky and James Gough. The second period was were the bulk of the points were tallied. James Gough (2), Brady Easton, Derek Knoblauch, and Cameron MacVarish lit up the scoreboard. The third period period period had three more goals scored by MacVarish, Knoblauch, and Gough. The team played an excellent game. The third game took us to the "C" finals. It was a nail-biter. In the first period Gough put one in the net. MacVarish notched one in the second. second. At the end of the game it was a 2-2 tie. Overtime was necessaiy. Thé Caps went four on four, then three on three, then two on two. Finally, one on one when James Gough broke the tie and scored the winning goal. The Caps won the "C" division championship with a 3 - 2 scorie.
