There were many interesting interesting entries judged by Vickie Lesnick. Carole Mostert displayed her usual expertise at arranging with many useful hints for care of house plants and entry suggestions. Door prizes were given out and a light lunch was enjoyed by all. Our next meeting is on May 19th at 7:30 in Orono United Church for the Spring Show and Plant Sale. The speaker is Kathryn Carnegie who is a National Judge for Communities in Bloom and District 17 director. Her topic is a slide presentation entitled entitled Garden Inspirations. The Plant Sale will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Come and join us on May 4th at our fundraising fundraising Buffet Luncheon from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. The cost is $10.00 per person.
