Arrests made in Newcastle store robbery Quick response by uniform officers from the Clarington Community Police Office has led to arrest of robbery suspects suspects who forced their way into a store from the roof. On Monday, May 2nd, 2005 at approximately 4:00 a.m., police received an alarm call from the Movie Gallery store located in a plaza on King Avenue in Newcastle. Officers arrived to find the front door open and quickly discovered two males running from the plaza. One male was quickly taken into custody but the second second male eluded police. At 4:51 a.m. the second second suspect was apprehended by K-9 dog Chase. The suspect suspect was bitten by the dog during during the arrest and sustained minor injuries to his hand. Jeffrey O'Halloran, age 19, of Elgin Court in Oshawa and Paul St. Onge, age 18, of Mandy Court in Whitby have both been charged with Break and Enter and Possession of Stolen Property of $5,000.
