Recite, a five year old racehorse racehorse was adopted from the LongRun Thoroughbred Retirement Society by Laura Boyle of Pontypool in April of this year, as a companion for Laura's mare, Brandy. Laura is an English rider who has competed for nineteen nineteen years and she feels Recite will also be capable of competing competing after some retraining. The first day after adopting Recite, Laura questioned her decision though. He just "ran around in circles". After the - third day he calmed down and she now finds him to be a "delightful character". "They just need downtime when they come off the track" says Boyle. She has already gained the champion's trust and he will now walk, talk and canter.
