Ops managed three more goals before Orono's Devon Robinson was able to find the back of the net assisted by Gray. Final score of the game, 4-2 for Ops Orono's next game was January 5th in Millbrook, a loss for the squad. Millbrook walked away with a 7-2 win. The point earners for Orono were Gray assisted by Meester and Matt Moffat assisted by Gray. January 11 had Newcastle and Orono teams playoff in Newcastle. There was a full house for the game. Newcas tle dominated the first period putting three points on the board. Orono found the . back of the Newcastle net 30 seconds seconds into the second period. Howe scored, assisted by Scott Henderson. With three minutes left in the period Newcastle slipped another one by the Orono netminder. Not to be outdone, Howe finished off the period with another goal, assisted by Henderson. The third period started of with Newcastle up by two, but at the 10:27 mark Howe got a hat trick, assisted by Moffat. You could feel the tension in the crowd and with one second left in the game Moffat scored unassisted to tie the game. Kenny Jackson had an outstanding outstanding game in net against the first place Newcastle-team. Jason Hoyne had net duties for the final league game of the season. Manvers faced off against Orono for the Sunday night game. The game was close from start to finish, and both teams worked hard but in the end Manvers; came out with the win, 2-1. The Dufferin Aggregate Juveniles completed their final four games in the span of five days. Despite having a very short bench, the juveniles juveniles beat Lakefield, Newcastle, Newcastle, Manvers and Norwood, Norwood, outscoring their opponents opponents 27 to 10.
