Defibrillators Defibrillators deliver an electric shock that restarts the heart in cardiac arrest victims. Last week Mayor Mutton introduced a resolution to add two defibrillators to the 2007 budget forecast, to allow all the municipal facilities to have one. This resolution was adopted unanimously. Currently the Courtice Community Complex and the Indoor Soccer Facility have a public access defibrillator. The defibrillator at the Indoor Soccer Facility was a gift from a resident.
