Local school bus operators and school boards are working together to make that experience more comfortable comfortable by offering First Rider programs this month. Young students- and their parents will be able to ask questions about school bus safety and take a ride on a school bus, thanks to the First Rider program's visits to communities August 19-26. The program program was organized by Student Transportation Services Services of Central Ontario (STSCO), the consortium that provides busing for students from the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board and the Local MR Bev Oda held an open house at her constituency office, on Friday, July 29, where she took the opportunity to meet with many local supporters.
