And of course, re-electing anyone is absolute agreement with the way they do things, so don't expect different results. Now don't get me wrong. I know a lot of these councillors on a personal level and they are all wonderful people. I do expect to lose some friends writing this article. My point is we don't need wonderful people--we need administrators, administrators, businessmen, leaders-- a strong board of directors will make a strong company, and a strong council will make a strong municipality. That will keep taxes down, protect our seniors, and make decisions based on public, need, .not personal want. As Clarington enters a period of high growth it becomes critical critical to put people who have nautical experience in charge of steering the ship and have the party crew go back to their cabins.
